Architectural DESIGNER/Project Manager

Strom Architecture is seeking a full-time Designer / Project Manager to add to our team. Strom Architecture is a full-service design firm specializing in new homes, cabins, additions/remodels, and boutique commercial projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package that includes generous time off and a 401(k) package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop/implement architectural design concepts, layouts and details under the supervision of the Principal Architect

• Lead in the assembly of construction documents

• Assist with the development of design presentation documents

• Collaborate with team members during design

• Participate in sourcing and specification of materials

• Take ownership of work and oversee all aspects of project

• Partner in fostering working relationships with clients

• Calculating estimates on cost, time, and construction based on the design. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArchiCAD (or similar) and Sketchup

• Well-rounded individual who can fill multiple roles

• Collaborative, yet able to work independently

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

• Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
